Step 1 — Copy the video link on iPhone

Find the video or Reel in the Facebook app. Tap Share, then Copy link. The clipboard should contain facebook.com, fb.watch, or m.facebook.com. If you only copied post text, try again from the Share menu on the video itself.

For Watch videos, open the episode first so Share targets that clip, not the whole Watch homepage.

Step 2 — Open the Facebook downloader in Safari

Launch Safari, go to the Facebook video downloader, and paste into the input field. Tap the resolve/download button. Wait until format rows appear — usually a few seconds on Wi-Fi.

Step 3 — Download the MP4

Troubleshooting iOS issues

Download button does nothing — Pop-up blocker or content blocker may interfere. Settings → Safari → turn off blockers temporarily for the downloader site.

File plays but won’t save to Photos — Open from Downloads list, tap Share, then Save Video. Ensure sufficient iPhone storage.

“Cannot download” or empty formats — Video is private or region-blocked. Open the link in Safari logged out; if Facebook shows login wall, the tool cannot fetch it.

Low quality only — Facebook may only serve 720p for that post. Pick the largest listed file.
